These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the services provided by Uppsala Repair, registered in Uppsala, Sweden ("we", "us", or "our"). By using our services or visiting our website [www.uppsalarepair.se], you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.


1. Services

We provide repair and maintenance services for electronics, including computers, mobile devices, gaming consoles, and data recovery. The specifics of each service, including the pricing, will be discussed with you before we start working on your device.


2. Functionality Warranty

We offer a 90-day functionality warranty on all repairs unless otherwise stated. This warranty covers defects in parts or labor directly related to the repair conducted. If your device experiences the same issue within the warranty period, we will re-evaluate and repair it at no additional cost. The warranty does not cover new damage caused by user mishandling or unrelated issues.


3. Data Recovery

Our data recovery services aim to retrieve lost or deleted data from hard drives, SSDs, memory cards, and other storage devices. Please be aware that not all data is recoverable, and previous attempts by third parties to recover data may affect our success rate. If a device has been tampered with or opened prior to sending it to us, recovery success may be limited.


4. Liability

We take great care in handling your device, but we cannot be held liable for:

  • Any data loss that occurs during a repair or recovery attempt.
  • Damage caused by pre-existing issues or previous attempts to repair or recover data.
  • Any indirect or consequential losses resulting from delays, device failure, or the inability to complete a repair.

5. Shipping and Handling

If you are not local, you may mail in your device for repair or recovery. You are responsible for securely packaging the device to prevent damage during shipment. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items during transit.


6. Payments and Estimates

All service fees must be agreed upon prior to the start of work. While we provide general estimates for most repairs, the final cost may change based on the complexity of the issue. We will always notify you of any changes before proceeding.


You can easily pay us through Swish, or we can send you an invoice, whatever works best for you!


For sales to minors, written consent from a parent or guardian is required.


7. Refund Policy

Refunds are not available for completed repairs unless the issue reoccurs within the warranty period. In such cases, we will re-evaluate the device and attempt to resolve the problem. If we are unable to resolve the issue, we may offer a partial or full refund depending on the circumstances.


8. Customer Responsibilities

By agreeing to our services, you acknowledge that:

  • You have backed up your data before submitting the device (unless using our data recovery service).
  • You will disclose any previous repairs or issues related to the device.
  • You are aware of the risks involved in repairs and data recovery.

9. Privacy

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be governed by the laws of Sweden. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.


11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to change or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you via our website or email. Continued use of our services following any changes implies your acceptance of the new terms.
