1. Diagnostics and Estimates
- We always provide free diagnostics and troubleshooting before proceeding with any repairs.
- After assessing the device, we will provide you with an estimate for the necessary repairs.
- No work will begin without your approval of the estimate.
2. Repair Process
- All repairs are completed by skilled technicians who take the utmost care with your device.
- We aim for full transparency and will document the repair process, uploading the video to our YouTube channel (unless you request otherwise).
- If we encounter any additional issues during the repair, we will contact you before proceeding with any further work.
3. 90-Day Functionality Warranty
- We offer a 90-day warranty on the functionality of all repairs, covering parts and labor.
- The warranty covers any defects in the repair work, excluding damage caused by misuse, physical damage, or liquid spills after the repair.
- If your device experiences the same issue within 90 days, we will assess and fix the problem free of charge, provided it falls under our warranty terms.
4. Payment
- Payment is due upon completion of the repair.
- We accept various payment methods including card, Swish, and bank transfer.
- You will receive a detailed invoice outlining the costs of parts and labor.
5. Shipping (For Mail-in Customers)
- For customers outside of Uppsala, you can mail your device to us. Please ensure it is securely packed to avoid damage in transit (refer to our packing guide).
- We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method.
- Return shipping costs will be included in your final invoice.
6. Data Privacy
- We respect your privacy. During any repair process, we ensure that your personal data is handled with care.
- No personal data will be accessed or used without your consent, unless it's necessary to complete the repair.
- For video documentation, no customer information will be shown publicly.
7. Unclaimed Devices
- If a device is left unclaimed for more than 60 days after the repair is completed and you have been notified, we reserve the right to dispose of or recycle the device.
8. Limitations of Liability
- Uppsala Repair is not responsible for any pre-existing issues or damages present before repair.
- While we take every precaution to protect your data, we are not responsible for data loss during the repair process unless you have specifically requested a data backup service.
